About the Role
The ideal candidate will have solid graphic design skills — using tools such as Canva and Figma. We are looking for someone with expertise using Klaviyo to help Klaviyo customers with their email marketing needs.
The position is remote/full-time hours required (40 hours per week), as close to Melbourne, Australia time zone as possible.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in email marketing is essential
- Experience designing email campaigns, using graphic design best practices
- Should be based in South Africa
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (especially Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and similar tools)
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance
- Basic understanding of email analytics
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities:
- Execute the design and production of emails in platforms such as Klaviyo
- Assist in the planning and development of email marketing campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails
- Coordinate the creation and deployment of email campaigns, working closely with the CRM & Loyalty Director.
- Develop and implement email list segmentation strategies to deliver targeted and relevant content to subscribers
- Monitor email deliverability and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Track and analyze email campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing email campaign performance
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize email content, design, and targeting strategies
- Manage and maintain email lists, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Assist Manager to communicate campaign progress and results to stakeholders through regular reports

- The salary range for this role is $500- $2,000 AUD per month depending on experience and skills
