eCommerce Email Marketing – Senior CRM & Loyalty Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Email Marketing Expert to join our eCommerce Email Marketing department at LION Digital. As a key contributor to the team, you will play a crucial role in client relationships and performance, taking ownership of various aspects of email marketing campaigns. This position is ideal for someone passionate about creating impactful customer journeys and optimising email strategies — with strong skills in project management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the implementation of end-to-end email marketing campaigns, from content calendar creation, copywriting, design QA, and campaign scheduling.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring deadlines are met and industry best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with clients through prompt and accurate communication via email and video calls, adjusting content calendars and strategising on future tasks.
  • Strategise and brief cohesive customer journeys through marketing automations, utilising Klaviyo and third-party apps.
  • Implement advanced automated flows, conduct A/B testing, and optimize campaigns based on performance analysis.
  • Plan and manage effective list cleaning and advanced segmentation/personalisation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the CRM & Loyalty Director to ensure client satisfaction and the continuous growth of performance.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role with a strong focus on email marketing.
  • Proven success in generating revenue from email campaigns and marketing automation, preferably using Klaviyo or other ESP — for B2C or DTC ecommerce brands.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to adapt under pressure.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive "figure it out" attitude.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and marketing performance management.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, Canva, Photoshop is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Shopify and Shopify app integrations is highly advantageous.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal team briefings.
